III. Eat!

After all the time spent preparing, mixing, and baking, you want to have something to show for your efforts. You want students to walk away with a fresh product that serves two purposes: (1) it is a reminder of their new knowledge and (2) demonstrates their degree of mastery concerning the subject matter or skill. It’s something to chew on!

Examples of student products include written works, short and full-length essays, tests, speeches, class presentations, videos, audio (i.e. podcasts), annotation from a source document, visuals, or even a documented class discussion, but it is not limited to the ideas listed.
